If you don’t have it than whats the point?
Sometimes, its quite irritating hearing people constantly complain about what they do. whether they hate their major, their job sucks, or they don’t like their friends. if you really don’t get much enjoyment from any of those things, then how about quitting, picking a new major, and getting new friends? its as easy as that. Why go through life not enjoying what you do? life is short, so enjoy it! take pride in everything that you do and be proud of your work, no matter how big or small.
This is a huge part of me. I believe by definition i’m a passionate person! if i love what i do then i give it my all. it can be my work, friends, basketball. Anything. i find enjoyment only in what i love doing. This has become a huge problem for me tho. as i can never find the enjoyment in doing something i’m not passionate about it. if i absolutely hate it then i don’t put the time into it. but is that so bad? I think it’s all about finding what makes you happy, right? I think right now i’m in a good place. after some of the nonsense that plagued me during the summer regarding school, its nice to kind of have sometime to get things back together and in order and find what really makes me happy. I found a new job and loving every minute of it. and i love doing this job. my job description is basically seating people, but if i just did that i’d be standing up at the podium all day long. so why not help bus some tables or help out when i don’t need too. for me it doesn’t matter because i like what i do. i take pride in my job and i think its a direct reflection of me as a person. i don’t care what job i have to do, whether it’s manual labor, working at a video store, of CEO of a big corparationg…it doesn’t matter. as long as i’m happy doing what i’m doing, then it doesn’t matter.
If you don’t like what you do, then do something about it!

always remember this rule:
no matter the fashion, the interior design, the car he drives or the job he does,
a man is defined as a gentleman by his character. his actions, words, and thoughts all contribute to the gentleman’s way of behavior. a true gentleman values chivalry but also stands up for himself when he is blatantly being treated wrong. a gentleman keeps a cool head in all times, he does not panic in times of stress. a gentleman values depth in all people, men and women. he does not have time for psuedo-multi-dimensional personalities. honesty and patience are virtues.
and if a man be stripped of all his material possessions, if these things listed previously still remain,
he is in fact an actual gentleman.
